Checking your brake fluid

Check the fluid level in the reservoir
If it is below the MIN level (or if the brake warning light comes on), add brake fluid up to the MAX level.
If your brake fluid needs topping up regularly, you should have your braking system checked by your local Peugeot Dealer, just in case, it has got a leak.

In conclusion, Peugeot recommends that your brake fluid is replaced every two years. Normally, this would happen at the same time as your vehicle’s scheduled service.

Note – if your brake fluid is low, it may be an indication that the friction material may also be worn, and the brake fluid has displaced the brake pads or shoes.
